Active card checks

When you use a card online, a lot of merchants will make a small ‘test’ payment to make sure you’ve given them the right details and your card's active.

These tend to be for around £0.10 or £1, but some merchants test with more. Normally, they’ll refund the amount right away but it can take up to 8 days.

If you've got an active card check that's more than £0.10, you can go to the transaction details in your feed, tap 'Something wrong? Tell us' and question the payment to have it reversed.
