How to open a Monzo Joint Account

To open a Monzo Joint Account, you and the person you want to open the account with both need to have already opened individual Monzo Personal Accounts.

Once that's done, either one of you can open a Joint Account in minute from in your Monzo app:

1. Tap the Home icon in the menu bar
2. Tap your profile picture in the top left of the screen
3. Scroll down and tap Open a joint account
4. Make sure you have your account co-owner's details saved in your contacts, and that you have Payments with Friends switched on in your app settings – otherwise you won't be able to get started!
