Pots with overdrafts

You can go into an overdraft even if you’ve got money in your Pots. This is because we don’t count money in your Pots as part of your main balance.

If it looks like you’ll go into an overdraft, and you’ve got money in Pots, we’ll warn you beforehand so you can move money back to your main balance if you like.

At the moment, you can’t move money into your Pots if you’re overdrawn, or if moving it would take you overdrawn.
