Getting a bank statement
The type of bank statement you need depends on what you need it for.
For your records
You can find and download your statements in the Monzo app 💁♀️ and the file now includes Pot statements! 🎉 You'll see them in the section after your main account statement.
- Tap the Home icon in the menu bar
- Tap 'Manage' to the right of your transaction feed. If you can't see that, tap on 'Account' under your card.)

For spreadsheets
You can also export all your transactions in the app as a PDF, CSV or QIF file 📊
- Tap the Home icon in the menu bar
- Tap the bar chart icon at the top right of the screen
- Tap Export & bank statements at the bottom of the screen

For mortgage applications
All of our bank statements generated in app are original documents, and you shouldn't need to get them stamped or signed for a mortgage or visa application. However, if you need a statement in the post, or your original document hasn't been accepted and you'd like a stamped and signed copy, please chat to us in the app.

Getting full transaction history for closed Monzo accounts
Once your account is closed, we’ll email you to confirm and attach a statement showing your full payment transaction history. This document will be password protected, and we’ll also send you the password to open it in a text message.
You can also ask for a copy of your full payment transaction history with Monzo, which we'll give you in the form of bank statements. This is available for up to 6 years after the account is closed.

You’ll just need to pass some quick identity checks, which we’ll explain when you get in touch.
We’ll send you your transaction history by post to the address that you had registered with us. If you’ve moved house, we can send your statements via email instead.
