We’re excited to announce that we’ve rolled out our newly designed, personalized Monzo USA cards. You can now order a card with your name on it - no more awkwardly being called “Monzo Beta” when picking up a coffee at your local shop!
To order your card, simply open the app and click the item at the top of your feed and follow the steps in your app. We’ll then send your card out ASAP, and you can expect it to arrive within about a week.
Our new card design features an even hotter coral color, which now extends to the core of the card. The color is so bright that employees at our card production factory wear tinted glasses during their production. Additionally, all of your card details are now printed on the back of the card instead of the front. You may recall we launched contactless cards back in January, but that they looked very similar to our initial cards. Since then, we went through several design iterations to make sure our new personalized cards looked exactly like we wanted. We’re really happy with how they came out, and we hope you are too!
We understand that for many people, particularly in the transgender and non-binary communities, the name printed on their debit cards doesn’t align with their identity. With this new design, we are proud to support preferred names on Monzo cards. If you’d like your Monzo card printed with your preferred name instead of your legal name, just get in touch with us.
Since all of your sensitive details are now on the back of the card, it’s now safe (and encouraged!) to post photos of the front (only) of your card online. We love to see Monzo cards out in the wild, so post a photo of your new card on social media and tag us @monzousa.
As always, we’d love to hear what you think about the new cards and how you’re finding our USA Beta, so let us know your thoughts on our community forum, via social media, or directly in the “Help” section of your app.
The Monzo Mastercard Debit Card is issued by Sutton Bank, Member FDIC, pursuant to a license from Mastercard International Incorporated.
