We have a few options to choose from when you sign up for a Monzo personal account. There’s our original Monzo account (free), Monzo Plus (£5 a month) and Monzo Premium (£15 a month).
We thought it might be helpful to clearly lay out what you get with Monzo Premium and Monzo Plus in a side by side comparison. So you can see how they differ, and where they’re similar, and then decide which one’s right for you.
Both come with everything that’s in our free Monzo account
Before we dive into the differences, it’s important to point out that both accounts come with everything you get with our original, free Monzo account.
That includes – ready? – a UK current account, fee-free UK bank transfers, Pots for separating money, award-winning customer support, instant notifications, Apple Pay or Google Pay, and your eligible deposits in Monzo are protected by The Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) up to a value of £85,000 per person. Phew.
Now let’s take a look at what you get on top of all of that, for each account.
